The time of year that we think about dejunking our homes or offices is coming—we consider spring cleaning! Getting rid of the old stuff that we don’t need anymore or just getting rid of junk. We all love how our homes look after we de-junk; the garage looks better and miraculously we can park the car in there again! We love how our closets look de-cluttered; we can actually fit all our clothes in the same closet (obviously not including shoes ;). The point is, we love to get rid of things we don’t need anymore. It’s amazing how we can accumulate unnecessary items.

Our bodies can behave in a similar fashion. Toxins can accumulate in our bodies and can then cause symptoms like fatigue, joint pain, muscle pain, brain fog, low motivation, skin irritations, just to name a few.  Our skin is our largest detoxification organ, followed by our liver and digestive tract. Nature has provided some amazing phytonutrients and botanicals that can support our detoxification on a daily basis. Any help we can give our bodies in this toxic world to aid in detoxing will improve our health. We can obtain many of these nutrients from eating real food, and especially lots of veggies and low glycemic fruit. One example is broccoli. It contains phytonutrients called glucosinolates that help us detoxify.

In today’s world we can take advantage of technology and companies like Zija that have created high-quality, nutrient-dense products that can also help our bodies detoxify. Two of these products are the Premium Tea and the Daily Tea. Both offer a unique blend of herbs and other nutrients that offer many health benefits. When consumed daily they provide our bodies the perfect combination of nutrients that support our detoxification systems. Both the tea products contain Moringa oleifera and are loaded with natural antioxidants and other healthy compounds that help us be healthier.

Finally, quality products that help me detoxify and, at the same time, control my appetite! Someone might even drop a few pounds during the process which typically we can all use, especially post holidays. Sounds like a good way to do some spring cleaning with my body!
